The Bananarang is a Hardmode boomerang. It returns to the player once it hits an enemy, comes in contact with a block, or reaches its maximum range. The Bananarang is dropped by Clowns during a Blood Moon, with a chance of 10*1/10 (10%) / 3.33*1/30 (3.33%) .
The Bananarang is not stackable, but can be autofired, creating a maximum of 10 Bananarang projectiles at the same time. Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both modifiers increase the average damage output by the same amount.
Bananarangs can be stacked up to 10 in one slot, and can be thrown rapidly, similarly to Light Discs. The Bananarang cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.
Notes[]
The Bananarang has autofire. The Bananarang does not autofire.
Tips[]
- In contrast to Light Discs, Bananarangs do not ricochet and do not travel quite as far. However, the low delay between throws means that a player can keep a greater number of projectiles in the air at once.
- The Bananarang can be obtained as early as the first Blood Moon in Hardmode, yet inflicts more damage than most Adamantite and Titanium weapons.
