The Bookcase is a crafting station used for the creation of two Hardmode Magic Weapons: The Crystal Storm and Cursed Flames. Until Hardmode it can be used as decorative Furniture, and fulfills a House's Flat Surface Item requirement. It can be crafted using twenty Wood and ten Books gathered from the Dungeon.

- The Bookcase actually shows 13 books stored, similiar to how a placed book shows 2-3 books.
- Although it is not required to make it, Water Bolt's unique sprite is visible in the bookcase (a blue book with white/brown band).
Bug: When a
Music Box is placed on top of the Bookcase, it will duplicate the Music Box.
