Unholy Arrows are a type of arrow. Compared to the Wooden Arrows used to craft them, they are stronger and have a piercing effect, allowing each arrow to hit up to five enemies. Against multi-section monsters, a single Unholy Arrow can damage multiple sections. A fired Unholy Arrow has a 25*1/4 (25%) chance of being recoverable after hitting an enemy or a wall.

In addition to being crafted, Unholy Arrows are dropped by the Eye of Cthulhu in worlds that generated with Corruption. Furthermore, they can be purchased from the Arms Dealer at night for 40 once the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated. After activating Hardmode, they become available during the day as well.

Notes[]

  • The Unholy Arrow's piercing is weaker than the Jester's Arrow, which can pierce an unlimited amount of enemies.
    • The damage penalty after each piercing is smaller in the case of Unholy Arrows (5% as opposed to 10%).
    • Unlike the Jester's Arrow, Unholy Arrows do not automatically break after a certain amount of air time.
  • On versions where it cannot be crafted with Vertebrae, Unholy Arrows must be obtained either from the Arms Dealer or through the artificial creation of a Corruption Biome.
