The Bowl of Soup grants you the Well Fed buff upon consumption, which increases the following stats:

• +2 defense
• +2% critical hit chance on all attacks (except minion attacks)
• +5% melee speed
• +5% damage (including minion)
• +50% minion knockback
• +10% movement speed

The buff lasts for 10 minutes, but can be cancelled at any time by right-clicking the icon or death.

Notes

• The fact that goldfish are required for the recipe may be a reference to the goldfish snack crackers that sometimes go by "soup crackers".
• Since update 1.2.1, Pumpkin Pies are a more efficient way of getting the Well Fed Buff because of the longer duration and avoiding the unnecessary waste of Iron Bars or Lead Bars for the Cooking Pot, and Clay for the bowls.
