The Eater's Bone is a pet item which summons a Baby Eater to follow you. The Eater's Bone has a 5% (1/20) chance of being dropped by Eater of Worlds or its Treasure Bag in Expert Mode.

This pet will not teleport to the player when it is far away, unlike most other followers.
