Shroomite Bars can be crafted at an Autohammer with a Chlorophyte Bar and 15 Glowing Mushrooms. These bars are so far used in the Shroomite armor, the Hoverboard and the Shroomite Digging Claw. You need 1170 Glowing Mushrooms and 78 Chlorophyte Bars to make a full Shroomite armor (including all 3 head parts); For the Hoverboard or the Shroomite Digging Claw, you need 270 Glowing Mushrooms and 18 Chlorophyte Bars each. In order to craft one of every Shroomite item available, you need a total of 1710 Glowing Mushrooms and 114 Chlorophyte Bars.

Only after defeating Plantera can the Autohammer, Shroomite gear, and armor be acquired.

• Shroomite Bars sell for more than a Chlorophyte Bar and 15 Glowing Mushrooms sell for. This makes Shroomite Bars a relatively easy way to make money, as the materials can be farmed.
