The Temple Key is dropped by Plantera and is used to unlock the door to the Lihzahrd Temple. It is consumed upon use, like Golden Keys. It is also used in the creation of Biome Keys.

Trivia

• The sprite of the key seems to resemble a fist, like the one used by Golem inside the temple.
• The sprite of the key seems to be the only one that faces right, rather than downwards.
• The sun symbol on the key is the same as the one on the Golem's chest.
