Notes[edit | edit source]
- Note that if gathering the crafting materials for a Blade of Grass in Hardmode, it will be far more difficult to farm Stingers, as the Hornets and Spiked Jungle Slimes that drop them will spawn less often. The enemy that becomes more common during Hardmode is the Moss Hornet, which does not drop Stingers.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Blade of Grass is a pun which refers to the fact that individual grass leaves are known as "blades" of grass.
- It is the second largest sword in the game, after the Breaker Blade.
- Prior to the 1.2 update, the Blade of Grass appeared to be a grass sawtooth katana. This was a reference to the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi (literally "Grasscutter Sword"), a legendary Japanese sword. The sprite was changed into a larger, double-edged sword with a high increase of grass texture.
- A Legendary modifier can increase the Blade of Grass's size to nearly twice it's size, making it huge.
