Animation of the Classy Cane.

The Classy Cane is a Hardmode melee weapon that has a 12.5*1/8 (12.5%) chance to be dropped by the Tax Collector NPC, who also uses it to protect himself. It is swung like a broadsword.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Notes

• As this weapon drops from a Town NPC, Rotten Eggs, traps, or the player attacking it while inflicted with the Cursed Inferno debuff must be used to kill the Tax Collector, as regular weapons have no effect. Enemies are also capable of killing it, however this is a tedious way of doing it with basic enemies such as a zombie.

Tips

• Although it can only be obtained in Hardmode, it does low damage when compared to other hardmode weapons. It may not be useful as a practical weapon.
