Notes[edit | edit source]
- This enemy is noticeably larger than other worms, ranging from 12 to 21 segments long.
- The Dune Splicer is very agile, and can turn very quickly. This can be especially dangerous due to the Dune Splicer's large hitbox.
- In a sandstorm, this worm becomes the second fastest worm in the game, only beaten by the Phantasm Dragon.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Dune Splicers may be inspired by the sandworms in the Dune franchise. This further reinforced by the Bestiary entry, as sandworms in Dune eat spice.
- The
Bestiary entry for the Dune Splicer: "The world's largest, most deadly worm. Strengthened by ancient magicks, it can devour a spicy Terrarian quicker than they realize."
