Giant Fungi Bulbs are Hardmode enemies that act similar to Man Eaters and Snatchers, but have a longer reach and launch Fungi Spores towards the player, dealing high damage. Fungi Spores fly towards their target, pass through all blocks, and glide downward via a "falling leaf" pattern. They can be destroyed by one hit from any weapon or damage-inflicting tool.

Notes

  • Giant Fungi Bulbs and Fungi Bulbs are both immune to lava. This is important to consider when constructing traps in mushroom biomes.

History

  • 1.2: Introduced.
