The Logic Gate Lamp is a mechanism that provides inputs for Logic Gates. Its state is toggled via a wired Switch, another Logic Gate, or other triggering mechanism. The particular Logic Gate attached determines whether to activate other wired mechanisms based on the states of any attached Logic Gate Lamps.

The Logic Gate Lamps, along with the Logic Gates, are purchased from the Steampunker for 10 Silver Coin (normal) or 2 Gold Coin (faulty).

Faulty Lamp[edit | edit source]

Placing a faulty gate lamp above a logic gate turns it blue, overriding its normal functionality and changing its behavior entirely. For more information, see Logic Gate: Faulty Lamps.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • These are flexible, so more than two Logic Gate Lamps may be used for a gate.
  • The state of the lamp is inverted with activation by wire, so placing an 'on' lamp can be used to negate an input. This is useful, as a NOT gate does not function properly as they would simply emit a signal every time an input changes due to how logic gates work in Terraria.
