AWB is limited, but basically lets you perform find/replace operations on bulk pages (usually this is all we need), and does it more easily than setting up your own bot from source code. The Gamepedia Help link above should tell you most of what you need to know to get AWB working with Gamepedia wikis. AWB itself has a bit of a learning curve but you can figure it out if you spend some time with it, and you can ask us if you have questions (that would be best done through chat).
Please be careful with bots or AWB though, as mistakes there can spread damage quickly to alot of wiki pages. Also make sure that what you're doing isn't controversial, and discuss any major changes first at the community noticeboard etc.
