Suffocation
Suffocation is a debuff that is inflicted when the player is caught in falling Sand, Silt, or Slush. Drowning will not inflict this debuff. Damage numbers bounce like other debuffs that inflict continuous damage.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Suffocation will only be caused by the blocks listed above; other blocks, such as Obsidian that forms over a player, will be completely harmless.
- Suffocation can occur if any part of the player is trapped by a block.
- If the player is playing the Secret world seed For the Worthy, ash has a chance of collapsing when hit as if affected by gravity. However, the player will not gain the Suffocation debuff from being trapped in it.
