Faulty spawns[edit source]

I think the bed might still be glitchy. I set a spawn point in a makeshift house above my western ocean, and the next time I logged on I was back at my eastern wall. Anyone else have a problem with faulty spawns? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.178.140.182‎ (talkcontribs) at 16:32, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

YEah, this has happened to me many times. What I do is just spam the righ-click button lol --Revolt- Change Is Welcome 19:45, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

No house needed[edit source]

A Door is not required to create spawn point in iOS version, four solid walls will suffice. --FictionalReality3 (talk) 00:44, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Crystal Bed[edit source]

It's disappointing that the best looking bed is unimplemented. Hopefully they'll roll out an update that'll implement the crystal bed soon. In the meantime, will world/save editors work with it or no? DoriSai (talk) 18:52, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

A recent spoiler shows they'll be implementing the Crystal Bed (along with its furniture set) in 1.3.5. World save editors won't work because neither the tile nor item are actually programmed into the game. 4e696e6a6f795844 (talk) 19:09, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Enchanted Sundial cooldown effects sleeping?[edit source]

I was confused about the sleeping addition from 1.4 because it didn't seem to be working for me. I lay in the bed and time stays the same rate. I realized that it may be because I used the enchanted sundial and I'm still waiting for the cooldown to wear off on it. Maybe the cooldown effect carries over to any method of speeding up time? When the cooldown is over I'll know for sure, but if someone has a save that has a sundial ready to go you can likely test this much faster than me Edit: Figured it out. Sleeping doesn't work if bosses (or in my case, one of the lunar pillars) are present in your world

Items usable while sleeping[edit source]

There appear to be some items which do not wake you up when using them, provided that you aim upwards. Out of the items I've tried (which mainly consisted of stuff on my endgame hotbar), the Golden Fishing Rod, Stardust Dragon Staff and Rainbow Crystal Staff, and Zenith were all usable without waking up, though it did cause time acceleration to get reset (i.e. as if I stood up for a brief moment before lying down again). --Quietust (talk) 03:37, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
