Pot should not redirect here, or have a disambiguation for the pots found in caves that contain money, bombs, shuriken, etc. 18.104.22.168 08:23, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
On my first trip to the garden after updating to 1.0.6, I noticed that all my Fireblossom was gone, along with the pots used to grow it. Can anyone verify this, or is it just some weird bug after the update? Are pots destroyed by lava now? MasterShizzle 18:45, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- My pots and Fireblossoms are all still there. --Lunboks 18:48, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Bug Regarding Doors[edit source]
I somewhat recently discovered a bug where if you attempt to open directly next to a clay pot, and the door is completely blocked (on one side by the pot), the plant inside said pot is harvested. I then tried to make a manual farm with it, with pots on both sides of each door. Doing this, I soon discovered that the plant only to the left was harvested. A s worked on the farm into the night, the plant on the right was harvested instead. I attempted to make another farm, this time a moonglow/daybloom one, using the switch harvesting of the doors in which I thought the day/night cycle was related to, this time also wiring the doors. This time I did a slightly different design, having each door with its own pair of pots, rather than sharing. This became even more confusing, as the door harvesting became random when done manually. When it was wired, the doors harvested plant on both sides, which is even more confusing, as I now realize that the door harvesting is probably related to the door being blocked, yet still trying to swing in some direction, but in the process harvested the plant (or something like that). This would explain why it was randomly harvested, but not why it was seemingly related to time of day. Can anyone further explain or confirm this? The auto-harvest feature with wiring is very useful, but it would be nice to know what is going on.
- I would hazard it is related to the direction that the door is trying to open, which should be the same as the direction your character is facing when you click on it (which you might have changed without realizing it, if you were not aware of this rule). I would further guess that doors opened with wires try to open one direction first, then try to open the other direction if the first one is blocked, thus resulting in both sides being affected. I don't see how this is any more convenient than a normal garden, though. --Manxome 01:59, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Anomaly in regards to liquid and flower from clay pot[edit source]
I've noticed that if you submerge the clay pot in enough water or liquid that is just barely above the the clay pot tile, you can stop the growth of the flower that automatically sprout from the clay pot making planting an easier job. --22.214.171.124 22:52, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
- Clicking on the flowers that sprout from the pots with the seeds you're trying to plant will destroy the flowers for you as the seed is planted. You don't need to cut the flowers first, or resort to such methods to prevent them from growing.

No growth below surface level[edit source]
Not sure if this was always the case, but I only just noticed on my current playthrough that clay pots don't seem to grow plants when placed below 0' i.e. surface level. ver: PC (GoG) v126.96.36.199 -- Spinfx (talk) 13:29, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
