Tooltip[]

Guessing the tooltip is a reference to the ending theme from "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" which has hit meme status over the last couple years, repeating a boisterous "Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog" multiple times. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chaxinitus63447 (talkcontribs) at 03:08, 26 May 2020‎ (UTC)

I had assumed it was a reference to Hot Diggity Demon, given the mob it's dropped from. Edit: I'm just going to add it. He's a long-term youtuber that most people are familiar with in some shape or form. For it to be a reference to anything else would be a stretch. Feel free to remove if any sensible rebuttal can be made.--81.111.44.54 12:58, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
This was on the page previously, but was removed by an unregistered account with the summary "It's not a reference to Mickey mouse ~ signed, the person who wrote the flavor text" (diff). It's not possible to know for certain if they actually did write the tooltip, but they also posted on the Re-Logic talk page with some information regarding Arkhayla leaving the company (diff), which implies that they work for, or at least have a connection to Re-Logic. --Eraloiz (talk) 13:41, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
That only makes it **more** likely that its tooltip and drop mob are related for a reference, and that the reference is in-fact to Hot Diggity Demon. I'd suggest that the undo against my edit is undone, but I'll leave that to whoever wants to care enough to do it. I'm not familiar with how frequent the devs talk to the people here or how likely they are to answer, but it'd probably be worth it to run it past them for confirmation if we're against the untenuous likelihood of it being a reference to a very popular long-term animator on youtube. We've certainly speculated with less before. --81.111.44.54 07:37, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
