Autopause[]
As of now, the article says, “Autopause must be disabled for this to work”. I saw Key of Light, as well as Key of Night, working in my hardmode world (ocean, surface layer) with Autopause On. Though, several times I have needed to reopen would-be-Mimic chest after placing the key, and then Mimic would appear definitely. Sometimes Mimic spawned without reopening the chest. (I won’t edit the article, as I’ve forgot which version of Terraria I played—1.3.0.3 or older, and this could be obsolete behavior.) - Just tried it out with a key of light in 1.3.0.4, I couldn't get the mimic to spawn until I turned off autopause. Annoying, because I play with autopause on as a rule. Scorch238 the Insufficiently Caffinated (talk) 04:12, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
