another strategy is to use a full set of necro armor and some msuket balls / silver bullets, since at a full set of necro armor can basically mow down anything will you still being able to recive decent dammage, a pheonix blaster works great in unicen. the shark is also extremley vulnerable against a nights edge though it's recommended to have a feiry greatsword about which in some respects gives you a better chance. i mean end-game stuf you should treat respectivley, especially from the biomes you get it from, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.20.242.10 (talk) at 01:41, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Invisible shark[]
I was just made "shark bait" by a shark I never saw while digging underground, rerouting water directly under my 1.1.1 world's spawn point. The world is in hardmode and the entire area is corrupted, but I wasn't expecting a shark to spawn and kill me before I even noticed it :( Also not sure if my newly crafted Fairy Bell is related to the incident, as the standard bell item is seemingly rumoured to encourage spawning. -CM — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.34.0.174 at 10:55, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Orcas from Statues?[]
Can Orcas be spawned from shark statues (for the purpose of farming Orcas for their banner), or is the only way to encounter one to wait for one to spawn? Diamondcat6746 (talk) 21:26, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
