Formatting?[]

When i used it for some reson (i still was riding a Slime) it turned into Honeyed Goggles!

Drop rate[]

Jumping on/off Enemies, Collision damage?[]
The page mentions that this mount allows you to damage enemies by jumping on them. However, do you bounce on them, or can you jump off them, or will you take collision damage from them? This is not clear, though the Eye of Cthulhu page says it can be used to kill that boss. Esaelon (talk) 16:32, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
- Landing on top of an enemy while riding the slime will make you bounce high in the air, and you will not take any contact damage. –KM100 (talk) 17:42, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Slimy saddle + bottomless water bucket[]
WARNING: using this too much will flood your world, be sure you have a super absorbent sponge
when i got the bottomless water bucket, i wanted to flood some area, because why not, but when i started riding the slime, i learned that you can hold directly under the mount to have it hover, by jumping to ascend while using the bucket i could have the capability to go up to space! wings are for chumps :P — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.33.185.241 at 13:14, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
Dungeon Guardian[]
Slime Mount is often cited as a lazy way to kill the Dungeon Guardian, but I get killed as soon as I'm pressed up against a ceiling, something that the slime mount is supposed to save the player from.

Ps3 drop chance[]
I usually play ps3, and my brother and I have killed king slime at least 6 times and we haven't found a single one. Was the drop chance increased at some point, or am I just really unlucky? IndigoGolum (talk) 23:01, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
Mobile obtainability[]

- Hi. In 1.2.4 (which is the latest version on Mobile), the Slimy Saddle has a significantly lower drop rate (I think 5%) so it's totally normal to have trouble obtaining it. However if you kill a lot more Kings and it still doesn't drop, you may be onto something here, as the Slime Saddle wouldn't be the first mount item to be unobtainable on Mobile. Slimy Saddle Nintnedo switch[]
I recently acquired the slimy saddle, and I wanted to make an elevator. When I tried to test the elevator, I couldn't bounce of the target dummies. Is this a glitch, or is the Nintendo Switch version not equal to 1.3.0.1? Holding the jump button on the Nintendo Switch version doesn't let you bounce off enemies. 10/19/2019
Slimy saddle + reflective dye[]
