The Guide

Stub.png This article is a stub. You can help the Terraria Wiki by expanding it.

Towns are player-created mini-biomes where more than 1 NPC is present (including Town Pets). Towns with 3 or more NPCs have unique music tracks for both day and night and are exempt from regular spawning conditions for enemies, except in the case of an Event.

When a vendor NPC has a price modifier of 85% or less (see NPC happiness), they will sell the biome-specific Pylon. These pylons only require two NPCs (including the Old Man and Town Pets) to function.

Music[edit | edit source]

These music tracks play while in a Town. Like most other tracks, they can be recorded with Music Boxes. When Otherworldly music is enabled, tracks from Terraria: Otherworld will play instead.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Due to NPCs being present while in a town, Critters have increased spawn rates.
