A player holding a Unicorn on a Stick.

The Unicorn on a Stick is a Hardmode novelty item that, when selected, is held stationary in front of the player to provide the illusion that they are riding a unicorn. It has no real function, unlike the Unicorn Mount.

It can be dropped by Unicorns with a 1% drop chance.

Notes

• You cannot hold the unicorn on a stick while in water.
• On the  Console version, using it while on a Bunny Mount spawns it floating where you spawned the bunny, flipping when you change direction.

Trivia

• This item is a nod to the classic hobby horse, a once-common children's toy.
• The item's tooltip is possibly a reference to the song, "Livin' In The Sunlight, Lovin In The Moonlight", written by Al Sherman and Al Lewis.
