- Actually, you were correct. For every night that's not a new moon, there is a 1/9 chance for a Blood Moon. The odds don't change after 4 hours, they are still 1/9. Each night the dice are rolled. Each night has the same probability. It does not increase as time goes on. Whether it's 1 hour, or 11 hours, the odds remain the same. You could go 11 hours without a Blood Moon. - A roll of the nine sided dice gives nine options (obviously) but no rule in the universe says that it has to go: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (unless you happen to be rather lucky), therefore meaning it can go in any order, with any amount of repeats, and you might roll a thousand numbers that aren't the one you want. Nevertheless the 1/9 chance is just a vague guideline as to roughly how often the Blood Moon can happen, emphasis on can, because there are also 8/9 chances you won't get a Blood Moon, so it's really just luck when it comes to things like this. Not to say the least I think this issue is resolved and the apology was unnecessary 88.193.92.203, though I'm slightly amazed at how concise you are when it comes to editor names... anyway.
