The 0x33's Aviators are an Expert mode vanity item. They can be obtained from the Eye of Cthulhu's Treasure Bag, but only when playing with a Hardcore character.

Notes

• 0x33's Aviators, Developer items, and the Suspicious Looking Tentacle are the only Expert mode items that don't have the Rainbow rarity.
• If the player defeats the Eye of Cthulhu and gets its Treasure Bag in a softcore or medium character, then gives it to a hardcore character, they will still get the aviators.

Trivia

• The Aviators are a reference to the Terraria streamer 0x33 who killed The Moon Lord in Expert mode with a Hardcore character.
• Its tooltip, “Great for impersonating streamers!” is both a reference to 0x33 and to that of developer items, whose tooltips are similar (“Great for impersonating devs!”).
• This (along with the developer clothing) is the only vanity item among the Expert mode items.
• The 0x33's Aviators along with the Pedguin's suit are the only Pre-Hardmode vanity items to have the cyan base rarity. They also both are references to Terraria streamers.
• This is the only item exclusive to Hardcore characters.
