The Bell is a Hardmode crafting material, used only to craft the Fairy Bell. While the Bell can be used itself, it has no functional use and only makes sounds. It is purchased from the Wizard for 1 each.

When used, the Bell generates bell sounds. The sound's pitch is determined by the distance between your character and the point clicked.
