A Chair is a furniture item that can be placed on the ground. It counts as a comfort item, which is one of the required elements in order to make a House for NPCs. It can also be used as a crafting station under the following conditions:

• A chair + a Work Bench are needed to craft Goggles and Sunglasses.
• A chair + a Table forms a minor crafting station where Watches (and in the console version, the Depth Meter) can be made.

All chairs are 1 block wide, 2 blocks high, and must be placed on top of a solid block or platform.
