Giant Fungi Bulbs are Hardmode enemies found in Mushroom Biomes both above and below the surface. They act similar to Man Eaters and Snatchers, but have a longer reach and launch Fungi Spores towards the player, dealing high damage. Fungi Spores fly towards their target, pass through all blocks, and glide downward via a "falling leaf" pattern. They can be destroyed by one hit from any weapon or damage-inflicting tool.
The Giant Fungi Bulb is immune to the Confused, Poisoned, and Venom debuffs.
Destroying the block that a Giant Fungi Bulb is rooted on kills it instantly, though this method of destroying the enemy doesn't drop any coins.

Notes

  • Giant Fungi Bulbs and Fungi Bulbs are both immune to lava. This is important to consider when constructing traps in mushroom biomes.
  • Although they're small, spores deal more damage than the bulb (when not in Expert Mode), so players should be wary of them.
