Not to be confused with the Crystal Assassin armor, dropped by the Queen Slime.
Ninja armor or Ninja set is an armor/vanity set made up of the Ninja Hood, Ninja Shirt and Ninja Pants. King Slime drops each piece separately (1 per kill with a 1:3 chance each), or two pieces from the Treasure Bag it drops in Expert mode. In the Nintendo version, pieces of the Ninja set can also be acquired from Lepus, but with only a 3% chance.
- In the Old Chinese version and tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, it provides very little defense, but increases velocity and damage of throwing weapons. In the Old Chinese version and tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, it provides very little defense, but increases crit chance and movement speed.
- In the Nintendo version, it provides no defense, but does have throwing weapon bonuses listed in its stats. However, it does not provide the bonuses listed, and Throwing damage is not a separate damage type in these versions.
- In the Old-gen console version, it is merely a vanity item and will provide no bonuses or defense.
In all versions though, having the full set equipped grants an after-image movement effect, similar to Shadow, Necro, and Cobalt armors.

Trivia
- It is possible to replace any part of the set with one of the Shadow armor's – the after-image movement effect will remain. (It is unknown if this is also the case on the Old-gen console version, or with other armor sets.)Verify
