The R.E.K. 3000 is an informational accessory that allows you to see your monster kill count, number of monsters around you and also tells you if there is a rare creature near you. It can be used to farm rare creatures, as it allows you to detect them. It can also be helpful for cave exploration, as it tells you how many enemies are nearby.

Like all the other informational accessories, this item functions even when it is not equipped in an accessory slot, and is merely in the player's inventory.
