Link to hardmode on the main page
There is no link explaining what Hardmode is on the main page, from the first few articles I read I thought it was referring to hardcore. I think linking the two references on the main page would be sufficient.

We should list the ids used in the coding for the Npcs and items.

i thought it would be nice to have a freebuild server conversation considering they are hard to find...plus my favorite server got griefed so im looking for ANY other server thats freebuild.if you want to see what happened to the server go to 94.23.195.138----i suggest you drink an obsidian skin potion before coming on though

Corrupt Transformation
Should Corrupt Bunnies and Corrupt Goldfish be able to change back to bunnies and goldfish after the Blood Moon sets, because it would make more sense. Werewolves too. Because, in legends, werewolves change back to humans after a full moon sets, so maybe werewolves should change to, ummmm..., something after the full moon and corrupted animals should change back to regular animals after Blood Moons. terrariatrooper9
Mobile Wiki
Hi Terrarians!
We have recently enabled the Mobile Frontend extension to make Terraria Wiki more accessible to mobile users. Mobile users are a growing section of our community, and we want to make them feel welcome! Toward that end, we (Curse staff) have added some new div id tags to the mainpage, to indicate which areas of the mainpage users can see when they first visit us on a mobile device. I will also be implementing a mobile.css (skin). We did encounter a few difficulties while we were adding the mainpage tags, primarily that the Enemies section is simply too large as it is currently to work well in the mobile view. It needs to be divided into smaller sections. I know... pita! Anyway.. give it some thought and let's see what we can come up with! -- Wynthyst

iOS Edition has features from Console

Redirect Loop attempting to login...
When I try to log into the Terraria Wiki, I get a message that tells me that there is a redirect loop on the login link. I usually use Chrome, but I confirmed the same problem trying to log in via Firefox. Henceforth, I can not log in. By any chance, is this related to the infrastructure being upgraded on Curse?

As of time of posting, the wiki main page link to the 1.2 patch notes is incorrect, and takes viewers to the 1.1.2 notes. Current version is incorrect, and links to 1.1.2
As of the time of posting, the listing for the current version on the main page says 1.2, when it is in fact 1.2.0.1 (Silly Red). It also links to a 1.1.2 thread, instead of something 1.2.x related. Now version is 1.2.0.2 but link still points to 1.1.2.

Full list of new enemies/weapons/etc (1.2)
I think it would be very helpful to the readers to have a 1.2 page where all the new items/enemies/weapons/etc are listed in a easy to look at format like at Weapons. Currently, the 1.2 version history page is a very oddly thrown together list which does not do the changes justice. Does anybody agree? Bws2cool (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

Halloween update
Hey there, now that the halloween update has been released the Pumpkin Moon event should be added to the events page. Also, the new enemy Mourning Wood has a pretty obvious referance in it's name, but can we include that referance on the wiki? We also need spirtes for the enemies (I could do this, but I don't know how to). Happy Halloween everyone!
Also, I would call the Pumpking a boss, but would you call Mourning Wood and the Headless Horseman bosses?
Mourning Wood drops it's own trophy, so I would consider it a boss. Horseman does not so I suppose it's safe to leave it.
-The Glitch- Hey guy I have been playing Terraria alot now, When the 1.2 update comes and npc arrived something glitch was happening.. well after the painter arrived and bought me some paint..A tile glitch happens.. I was painting my wall until some random tile switch the paint..all of it..I was wondering if somebody know the problem just answer Here...
New stuff!
With all the new stuff that has been added to the game with 1.2, I think it might be an idea to add a new extension to the wiki that would allow us to create automatic list pages. Since most of the individual pages have been added, with infoboxes, it's relatively easy to add this functionality. - I would love to see an extension like that. I've tried something like this before on another wiki without an extension, but that resulted in multiple bugs. However if there is a good working extension available it would make things a lot easier. --0icke0 (talk) 21:38, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
Opinions and Trivia
There's two things that have really been bothering me and I've been trying to put some effort into resolving, namely trivia sections and opinions in articles.
It seems really unprofessional to see a trivia section where people basically just assume it's a reference to some random thing they like without it either being confirmed or completely obvious (in the case of say, hero's clothes, we don't really need confirmation that it's a reference because it's obvious). I've been trying to trim them up, but sometimes people will just re-add stuff because they're so hard set that their favorite thing is referenced in Terraria.
On the other hand, we have opinions. These have been cropping up a lot lately because of debates over what equipment/weapons are the best in the game. There should be no opinions on an informational wiki, but literally every new weapon or armor page is littered with "this is the best weapon in the game" or "has some of the highest damage/is extremely effective". None of this stuff should be on there, as it's clearly biased and has no fact behind it.

- I agree that most trivia should just be removed, unless it is a clear reference/there is some confirmation that it is a reference to something. Also notes stating that some item "is the best" are better to be removed. I've removed most of those before v1.2 and will continue to do so. hi, why is Template:Buff infobox protected against even registered users?

Ghost Enemy??

Second. I found this ghost enemy in the Underground Jungle, and I can't find any page anywhere on this wiki that has any info at all about this enemy.

weapons on home page
Like melee,ranged,magic,etc but on the main page.
Link to german Wiki is broken
On the left menu, the link to the german version of the wiki seems to be broken. It only transports me to Gamepedia, not to the actual german version of the wiki, althought a main page exists. I don't know how to change this, so can someone that knows how and has the right permissions please fix the link?

WHAT THE F*CK
Ok, so a little while after the chest bug happened, the one that destroys everything in the worlds chests as well as the presence of them, a giant part of my world transformed into nothing, then added a glass background and a bunch if weird brown blocks that are completely covering the destroyed section, and the weird blocks were blinking with a yellow outline, then I later found out that when the weird brown blocks brake or get smashed or mined with a pickaxe, THEY DROPPED CHESTS, the world is deleted now, it's no use considering the chests dont give me anything, the dungeons been blown up into oblivion, the village sucked beyond possible, and a bunch of other things, anyways, WHAT THE CRAP HAPPENED?????!!!!!

ADD HARDMODE
Hey there, I was playing my terraria on mobile, and after killing the wall if flesh 3 times, it got boring knowing I cant access hardmode. Could you please add hardmode to terraria mobile in the next update, also, why not give us some more pre-hardmode boss's, or at least allow players to summon hardmode boss's in pre-hardmode, I'm looking for a fight as you can tell.
